The Hesketh Arms Bowling Club is back up and running for another fantastic season of Crown Green Bowls!

Many members of Churchtown Conservative Club are already involved – whether through regular play, the annual B.J.P. O’Malley President’s Trophy, or our popular bowling day out – and now is the perfect time for others to get involved too!

👉 Season Opening Event – Round Robin
📅 Easter Sunday, 5th April 2026
⏰ Starts at 12:00 noon (Registration from 11:45am)

We’d love to invite any Conservative Club member to come along and take part – whether you’re an experienced bowler or a complete beginner!

🎯 What is a Round Robin?
It’s a relaxed and friendly format where groups of four play short doubles games, switching partners each time – a great way to meet others and enjoy the game. Newer players will be paired with more experienced bowlers, so it’s ideal if you’ve never played before.

🎳 No equipment? No problem!
A limited number of bowls are available to borrow – just make sure you wear flat-soled footwear on the green.
